Ghanaian Afrobeats star King Promise has turned his lifelong Chelsea support into “Can’t Tame Us (Chelsea Anthem).”
The record arrives as the official Chelsea FC theme song for the 2026/27 season, released on September 28, 2026. Because it will soundtrack home games at Stamford Bridge, the brief demanded something supporters could sing along to.
For King Promise, though, the partnership carries personal weight. His attachment to Chelsea traces back to watching Ghanaian football legend Michael Essien, whose spell at the club first pulled him toward the Blues.
Running just under two minutes, “Can’t Tame Us” leans on upbeat, stadium-ready Afrosounds shaped by Ghanaian influences. The energy is built for matchday, so the song works as a rallying cry across the campaign.
