Kweku Smoke – Survival

Ghanaian rapper Kweku Smoke returns with “Survival,” the latest cut pulling him straight back to familiar ground.

Seven tracks into this project, “Survival” feels like a deliberate reset. The drums tighten up again, and that hard bassline returns after the lighter material in between. His delivery sharpens too, more frantic than the laid-back flow on “Okwantunii,” as if the stakes just came back into focus.

Because the grind never really left. Even after healing, thankfulness, and ease had their moment across this run, nothing got fixed on this one. Instead, the song circles back to the hustler energy that started everything, similar in spirit to “Life Of A Hustler.”

So the journey reads like a full circle now. Hustle led to pain, pain to correction, correction to refusal, and eventually to praise, but survival still sits underneath all of it.
