Fireboy DML returns with “ONAZO!”, a fresh Afrobeats cut that finds the singer stretching his sound into new territory again. Yung Willis handles production on the record, which sits on the singer’s fifth studio album, “ZUKO!”.
The track lands as part of a body of work that signals a shift for Fireboy, following the personal slant of his previous album. His new project leans into self-discovery and growth, so “ONAZO!” carries that same adventurous spirit.
The Nigerian singer, born Adedamola Adefolahan, signed with YBNL Nation back in 2018. He has since built a catalogue that pulls from Afrobeats, R&B and beyond, working with a long list of producers along the way.
On “ONAZO!”, his melodious vocals ride a rhythm that feels built for movement. The delivery stays smooth, yet the energy pushes forward, and that mix is exactly what his fans keep coming back for.
