Nigerian rapper Lil Frosh steps back into the spotlight with “NOW OR NEVER,” his latest full-length album and an eight-song project. The release follows a string of solo efforts that kept his name buzzing through the scene.
Lil Frosh takes the leading role here, while Islambo and Wizkid appear simply as guests. That sparse feature list gives him room to carry the record through his rap delivery, melodic instincts, and street-rooted composition. However, the Wizkid pairing stands out because it connects the rapper’s raw energy with one of Africa’s biggest crossover voices.
The album stays firmly in hip-hop, alternating between straight rap performances and more melodic passages. Its relatively small tracklist also helps keep the endeavor on point rather than spreading the material thin across an excessive runtime. So Lil Frosh uses that compact space to show his range without losing focus.
