Offset links with Don Toliver on the new single “Every Night,” a melodic trap record built around two very different voices. The song pairs Offset’s rapid-fire rhymes with Don Toliver’s ambient vocals, and the contrast carries the whole thing.
Don Toliver floats over the beat rather than attacking it. His delivery stays hazy and stretched out, so the hook lands soft instead of loud. Offset goes the other way, packing his verses tight and pushing the tempo with clipped, punchy lines.
That push and pull gives “Every Night” its shape. The production keeps the rhythm loose and the melodies warm, so neither voice has to fight the beat. Offset sounds settled in his pocket here, while Don Toliver does what he does best.
The record also fits a busy stretch for Offset. He has been popping up on tracks with Gunna and Omarion, and his name keeps showing up in rap conversations. “Every Night” adds another melodic cut to that run.
