Olatop Ekula keeps his foot on the pedal as “Chase” lands right in the middle of a busy singles run.
The record arrived on October 2, 2026, under Viper Entertainment.
It follows a steady stream of drops from the Nigerian artist, including “Yara” and “Moving Different,” so “Chase” fits into a moment rather than standing alone. The street-hop single carries a motivational message built on persistence.
Olatop Ekula was born and raised in Lagos, with roots in Ogun State. His catalogue also holds projects like “Hope To the Trenches” and “Hood Chronicles – EP.”
On “Chase,” he keeps things direct. The subject matter speaks to financial goals and the grind of pushing forward, which lines up with the everyday experience of listeners chasing better circumstances. He also featured on “Win Forever” with Help Is On The Way.
