Olefied Khetha is back with a new version of his record as “iStep Father (Remix)” arrives with Big Zulu on it.
The remix hands the song to two different voices. Big Zulu brings a commanding rap presence, and that edge pushes the track closer to hip-hop than before. His verse sits beside Olefied Khetha’s original performance instead of replacing it. So the song keeps its shape while picking up a harder tone.
What makes “iStep Father (Remix)” land is the contrast. One voice carries the melody, the other applies pressure. That push and pull gives the record a renewed character without losing what drew people in first.
For Olefied Khetha, the move also links him to one of South Africa’s established rap voices. That pairing widens the song’s reach and puts his name in front of a different crowd.
