Nigerian producer Phantom teams up with Afrosounds talent Lucid on “JANGILO,” a new Afrobeats single built around smooth melodies and playful romance. The track dropped on July 24, 2026 through TRINITTI MUSIC and runs just over two minutes. Phantom handled the production while Lucid delivers the vocal performance, and the two share writing credit on the song’s flirtatious narrative about mixed signals and modern courtship.
Phantom is a Nigerian producer known for his polished Afrobeats sound. He works under TRINITTI MUSIC and has built a reputation for rhythmic percussion and contemporary instrumental arrangements. Lucid is a fast-rising artist within the Afrosounds movement, bringing an easygoing vocal style that complements Phantom’s production approach. The collaboration pairs Phantom’s upbeat, percussion-driven framework with Lucid’s relatable lyricism.
“JANGILO” leans into the excitement and uncertainty of attraction. Lucid uses metaphors and conversational lines to describe someone whose intentions remain unclear, and that tension fuels the song’s energy. The production stays vibrant without overcrowding the vocal, so the hook has space to land. It’s a straightforward love record that doesn’t overreach, and the chemistry between the two artists keeps the momentum steady.
