Bongo flava singer Platform has released a new record titled “Siwezi,” a song the artist frames around an emotional theme. The title means “I can’t,” according to the release.
The track follows his recent lively group cut “Tilalila” and the romantic “Nampenda.” The new song is described as showing another side of the singer.
A slow drum pattern leads the beat, with acoustic guitar plucks weaving through it. The bass stays low, giving the sadness space to build, the release states.
Platform delivers the verses in a tender, slightly husky tone. He stretches the end of each line, an effect described as sincere.
The lyrics are said to centre on a heart that cannot let go or move on. The message stays simple, and the song is described as hitting straight away.
