Platform Tz has dropped a new Singeli single called “Tilalila” with Dogo Paten, Ibra Malume and Good Master on verses. The fast-paced track pulls four voices into one lively street anthem.
“Tilalila” moves quickly, but its story carries heavy weight. The song follows someone worn down by grief and bad experiences with love. He ends up drinking heavily in local pubs as a way of coping with the misery. That contrast between the lively beat and the sad theme gives the record its pull.
Arrangements come from Goodmaster, whose work fuels the song’s high-spirited street feel. The production races ahead, so the vocalists have to keep pace. They do, switching between lines without losing the energy.
The single sits on Platform Tz’s three-track EP, Hatua 3, distributed digitally by Africori. It also marks his turn toward a faster, more aggressive sound.
