South African Amapiano producer ShaunMusiq collaborates with Zee Nxumalo and Senzo Afrika on “Shabalala Konke,” a vocal-driven track.
The record appears as the ninth track on ShaunMusiq’s album MISSING PIECE, released on July 31, 2026. “Shabalala Konke” brings together Thatohatsi, Tshepo Keyz, Zee Nxumalo, and Senzo Afrika into one extended piece, creating a rich tapestry of Amapiano voices. Each artist adds their own melodic flavor, building a record that leans on the strength of multiple performers rather than a single lead.
Thatohatsi has become a consistent presence throughout the first half of MISSING PIECE, appearing on tracks like “Maseko” and “Thonga” before lending her voice here. Zee Nxumalo and Senzo Afrika round out the lineup, both known for their work within the Amapiano space. ShaunMusiq himself operates at the center of South Africa’s Amapiano movement, regularly collaborating with emerging and established voices in the genre.
