Ghanaian recording artist and 2Hype Gang member Showbezzy has finally delivered his all-inclusive studio effort “Lonely at the Top (Album)” for street-hop fans.
The project runs fourteen tracks deep, but the vocal performance carries it. Showbezzy leads the tracklist with his trademark textured rasp, and that gritty tone holds attention across the whole body of work.
He does not carry it alone, though. Eno Barony, Strongman, Larruso, Ypee, and Lyrical Joe all pull up as guest performers, so the mic gets shared without the energy dropping.
Production sits on lively mid-tempo soundscapes, driven by hammering kick drums, snappy hi-hats, and rolling 808 sub-bass lines. Skilled producers leave enough headroom in the mixes, so every gritty joke lands with clarity.
The writing leans into tenacity, survival codes, and negotiating solitude on the grind. “Lonely at the Top (Album)” gives dreamers an uncensored soundtrack, mixing harsh street realities with triumphant claims of supremacy.
For West African street-hop aficionados and hip-hop purists, a cohesive body of work like this arrives right on time. Have you run through the project yet? Drop your favourite track in the comments below.
