Ghanaian recording artist Showbezzy is back with a reflective hip-hop sequel, as “On My Own II” arrives with Foreign Girl on it. The 2Hype Gang member keeps the mood heavy here. It lands for West African hip-hop heads craving sincere albums about solitude and self-reliance.
“On My Own II” comes from his studio EP Lonely at the Top. Foreign Girl joins him on the record, and the pairing gives the track its softer edge. Showbezzy gets vulnerable on it, breaking down the emotional toll of the lonely road to success. He also speaks on keeping his peace away from fake pals, because betrayal is clearly on his mind.
The production matches that weight. Moody mid-tempo drums carry banging kicks, snappy hi-hat rolls, and deep sub-bass lines underneath. Clean engineering lets the mix breathe, so every bar lands clearly. Showbezzy leads with his textured rasp, while Foreign Girl answers with peaceful, evocative vocals.
