Nigerian singer-songwriter Tay Iwar builds on the world of his recent full-length project with a new single, “WONDERFUL”.
The track arrives as the title cut from his 2025 album, and Tay Iwar handled the writing and production himself. He also samples “Necessary,” the 2007 song by Nigerian duo Zule-Zoo. That flip gives the record its melodic anchor, while the subject matter stays fixed on amazement, passion and commitment.
He has stayed busy since “Summer Breeze” landed in 2023 and the “GOLD II” EP followed in 2024. Because his catalogue keeps growing, listeners now expect a certain standard from him. But the demand around his name has never really depended on volume.
What works here is restraint. He writes about devotion without turning it into a grand statement, and the vocal stays close and unhurried throughout. So the song earns its warmth instead of demanding it.
