Benin City singer Tega Boi DC keeps building on the sound his fans already know as “eyes & soul” arrives on his new EP “SOL.”
The song opens the three-track project, and it leans hard on his voice. He sings about heartbreak without dressing it up, so the hurt sits right at the front.
“eyes & soul” came out on October 15, 2026 under Plutomania Records. The EP also carries “Alhamdulillah,” which brings in ZerryDL and Rord Kelly with production from boywithmagic.
“FRA” closes the project in just over two minutes, with Progrex behind the beat.
Tega Boi DC works in Afrosounds, mixing melodic singing with the casual phrasing of Nigerian streets. That blend keeps a sad song from sounding stiff, because he can sing about pain the same way he would talk to a friend.
He has stayed busy. Earlier songs like “Roll,” “Child’s Play,” “Issue Of Funds,” and “Methusela” built his audience, while “Heart Figures” and the 2024 EP “Grooves and Moves” kept his name moving.
On TikTok, fans have been typing “pain in my eyes” into search bars, and one lyric explainer there has pulled in nearly 97,000 likes.
