Tklam Boy steps into a smoother lane as he links with Omotena Jaja on “Cloud 9,” an Afrobeats single. The Abuja artist trades some of his usual grit for melody here, and the shift lands well.
“Cloud 9” arrives through Ugwuboi Records, and it moves on a steady mid-tempo groove. The record carries an upbeat feel that fits its uplifting title, so the mood stays light from start to finish.
Tklam Boy brings his Abuja street-pop flow to the production, which gives the song a grounded local character. Omotena Jaja answers with a contrasting vocal presence, and the pairing keeps things balanced. The result moves between catchy melodies and energetic delivery without losing its Afrobeats appeal.
Both artists show a different side of themselves on “Cloud 9,” yet the arrangement stays easy to connect with. For the Ugwuboi Records camp, it lands as a strong addition to the run.
