South African vocalist Tman Xpress returns with a moody new single titled “Remember,” a joint effort with Pretoria duo Mellow & Sleazy. The song lands as part of their collaborative album, “Midnight In Diepkloof Zone 2,” released on 22 May 2026.
Mellow & Sleazy handle production alongside Ngcebo Lwazi, while Tman Xpress wrote the song himself. Because the pen is his own, the memory theme carries a personal weight throughout. He sings in vernacular, and his tone stays inward and honest.
Tman Xpress, born Tsiliso Molokoli, started his music journey back in 2009 while still in high school. He has since built a steady profile in amapiano, working with names like DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small. Yet this record finds him in a quieter, more reflective space.
The production lets log drums and layered percussion build slowly, while atmospheric synths float above the mix. Although the track runs just over seven minutes, the groove never loses its grip. That long format gives him room to stretch each line.
