TML Vibez closes his diary series as “Radio” lands on A Street Kid’s Diary (Disk 2), a reflective closer for the Lagos artist.
The song sits at the end of a 16-track project, and it carries that closing-track weight well. Badass handles the production here, a different name from most of the recurring producers across the album. The result stays within the Afrobeats frame of the record, but the mood leans quieter and more personal.
TML Vibez has spent the past year building an impressive catalogue. He has worked alongside Victony, Blaqbonez, Lasmid, Ayo Maff, Shoday, and Mavo, while also releasing solo records that show his range. That mix of collaborations and solo work has kept his name in steady rotation.
“Radio” works because it does not try too hard. The song closes a long project with restraint, and that feels right for the final chapter of a diary. It is the sound of an artist comfortable with where he is.
