Uncool MC moves from Amapiano host to recording artist as his debut EP “Sesikude” finally lands for listeners today. The title translates to “We have come far,” and it fits the story behind the project. Across seven tracks, he leans on energetic Amapiano log drums, vocal chants, and Private School Amapiano elements.
The project carries a heavy guest list, because Focalistic, Shaun 101, DJ Maphorisa, Royal MusiQ, Myztro, and Nomfundo Kayy all appear. The lead single “Setla” features Focalistic and Shaun 101, and it helped introduce the EP before its official release. Uncool MC also marked the launch with an exclusive listening and launch party at Ce La Vi in Sandton.
His background sits in Amapiano hosting and live performance, so the crowd already knows his voice. That journey runs from the local club scene in Kwa-Thema to bigger stages, yet the EP keeps that club energy intact. It makes sense that he built “Sesikude” around the sound he has been pushing from the decks all along.
