Nigerian singer and songwriter WurlD returns with “Da Da”, a new single that puts his vocal range up front. The record lands as another step in his run of 2026 releases, coming after the September drop that kept his name moving.
His last single “You and I” arrived in three versions, including acoustic and a capella recordings, so the voice carried those arrangements rather than the beat. “Da Da” follows a similar instinct. The writing stays minimal and relatable, which gives him room to stretch phrasing and tone instead of hiding behind heavy production.
WurlD built his catalog on Afrosoul and R&B, and his 2025 album Metal Hearts leaned into Afro-house, amapiano and other dance sounds. But the singing never left. That range is why his work with producer Sarz, especially the joint project, still travels years later.
He has also worked with Walshy Fire, Shizzi and other names across Afrobeats and beyond, so the demand around him is real. Choosing a vocal-led record here feels deliberate. It reminds listeners what separates him from the crowd, and it gives the album rollout a strong anchor.
