South African DJ and multi-platinum producer Abidoza unveils an eight-track EP titled “Club Controller” through his Doza Nation Entertainment imprint. The project landed on October 9, 2026, and it marks a clear turn for him. He built his name on smooth, soulful Amapiano cuts like “Baby Boy,” “Siyathandana,” and “Dinaledi.” But “Club Controller” pushes him toward a harder, dance-floor-first sound.
The runtime tells the story. The EP runs about 57 minutes, and most tracks stretch past six minutes. “Controller,” “Chomi,” and “Just Like That” each pass the eight-minute mark. That length suits DJ sets rather than quick playlist spins, so the mood stays heavy and unhurried throughout.
September’s singles set up the direction. “Club What” with Djy Vino arrived first, then “Chomi” followed with Djy Vino and KMAT, featuring Trixx. Both now sit on the full project. Tumza D’kota appears twice, on the opener and the closer, while Calvin Fallo joins on “City Rains” and El.Stephano shares the title track.
Records built for the floor rarely get judged by a single listen, and this one clearly wants the long night instead.
