Ghanaian Afrobeats artist AlorG has released “Chap Chap,” a new single featuring Medikal, which brings two voices onto one record. The song sits on his EP “First Off I’m Proud Of G,” which arrived on 16 October 2026 through Platoon.
Medikal lends a verse to “Chap Chap,” while Nii Amu and Alodia Kusi-Gyamfi share co-writing credits. Because AlorG was born Alodia Kusi-Gyamfi, that writing link runs straight through the project itself.
He moves between Afrobeats, Hip Hop and Highlife, and the EP carries eight tracks in total. “Life Of The Party,” “Wowo” and the Suono Sai-assisted “Buss Am” round out the run, so the range is wide.
On “Chap Chap,” the delivery stays loose while Medikal’s verse shifts the tempo. Yet the hook is what holds it together, and that contrast gives the record its pull.
