AlorG – Wowo Ft. MANAMEPEE

AlorG – S.A.S

Ghanaian artist AlorG and MANAMEPEE have joined forces on “Wowo,” a record built on rhythm and arrangement first, not hype.

The song sits on AlorG’s EP First Off I’m Proud Of G, which carries eight tracks and runs just four minutes in total. Myron Ohemeng and Chris Gyamfi are credited with helping shape the lyrics that ride the musical arrangement of “Wowo.” Because the beat does most of the talking here, the writing had to lock in tight with the groove.

AlorG, born Alodia Kusi-Gyamfi, is a 20-year-old Ghanaian act who blends Afrobeats, Hip Hop and Highlife. He works independently, with no major label behind him, yet he has still pulled names like Sarkodie into the studio. His catalog also includes “Buss Am,” “Tomorrow,” and “Chap Chap.”

Pairing with MANAMEPEE on “Wowo” gives the arrangement a second voice to play against. So the record lands differently than a solo cut would.
