Asake, a popular and talented Nigerian singer and a great stage performer, has released a new track titled “Intro”.
The “Intro” of the M$NEY Album is short, but it sets the tone right. Asake doesn’t waste time here. He uses this opening to set the mood and direction. There is minimal sound, virtually pared down, so that his voice is heard clearly, without distraction.
You can hear the confidence in the delivery, but it is neither loud nor forceful. It feels purposeful, not like he’s improvising on the fly, gradually bringing the audience toward what’s coming. The production is understated, creating atmosphere instead of pursuing energy.
