South African artist Blxckie has dropped a new single called “let em have it,” a record built to meet fan anticipation. The release also brings KindlyNxsh into the frame, and he handles production duties as well. That double role adds an extra layer of depth to the song, because the beats and the verses come from the same head.
Blxckie has spent years building a reputation as one of South Africa’s most innovative and influential artists. So expectations around any new drop tend to run high. “let em have it” answers that pressure with unusual rhythms and engaging lyrics, while the chemistry between both performers carries the record from start to finish. It is a smooth blend of genres, but it never loses the edge that made people pay attention to him in the first place.
His ability to keep making new sounds while staying true to his heritage is what keeps listeners coming back. That mix sits right at the centre of this one. The 2026 release captures his growing sound and creative vision, and it should connect with fans well beyond the continent.
