Chef 187 has linked up with Blake once more for “Clock It,” a new single built on a partnership listeners already know well. The two previously clicked on “Nobody” from the “Broke Nolunkumbwa” project, so they settle into this one fast. King Nachi of KNB Records handled production, while Director Brown stepped in for the visuals.
Chef 187 sounds at home across the verses, moving with the quiet confidence of an artist who has spent years on the mic. Blake handles the melodic parts, and his presence keeps “Clock It” from turning into a straight rap record. They balance each other out nicely.
This is only Chef 187’s second official single of 2026. He isn’t rushing to dump a whole album on fans just yet. Instead, he is picking his spots, and calling on Blake again feels like a safe, solid play rather than a stretch.
That measured approach says plenty about where he stands right now. Have you played “Clock It” yet? Drop your thoughts in the comment section below.
