Zambian artist DJ Cosmo, also known as Umupilipili, links with Malawian Dancehall heavyweight Malinga Mafia on “My Queen.”
The track is an upbeat dedication to women, so the record leans on admiration and confidence.
Shinko Beats handles production on “My Queen,” and the acclaimed Zambian hitmaker builds the beat around contemporary Zambian Afro sounds. Because the arrangement stays dance-ready, both artists get room to move.
Malinga Mafia brings Malawi’s energetic Dancehall influence into the mix, while DJ Cosmo holds the other side down.
The cross-border setup works, yet the beat never gets crowded.
An official music video also arrives with the song, which pushes the lively character past the audio alone.
The result is a vibrant record built around celebration, and the production carries most of that weight.
