Amapiano hitmaker Dlala Thukzin keeps his piano groove going as he drops a love-struck new record titled “Ungenzani” with MK Productions and Blaq Seed. The isiZulu title means “what are you doing to me,” so the song opens with a helpless grin.
Thukzin has spent years turning piano grooves into party fuel. A question like this suggests a crush that has taken over his whole week. Two guests on the credits hint at more than one view of the same problem.
MK Productions handles the sound side with a firm hand, so the beat feels polished without losing its swing. Thukzin’s own stamp shows in the small switches that arrive right before things get stale. Together they build a bed that carries a vocal easily.
Blaq Seed delivers the confession in a smooth, slightly teasing tone. He sounds like a man complaining and enjoying it at once. The lyrics seem to circle one woman’s charm, her power over him and his failed attempts to play it cool.
So “Ungenzani” fits neatly into the lane Thukzin has built for himself. It keeps the groove warm while letting a guest carry the emotional weight. That split works in its favour.
