Nigerian rapper, actor, and social commentator Falz unveils a brand new five-track EP titled “Break Time,” released June 26, 2026.
The trailer alone got everyone talking before a single track dropped. It carried the line “We had Moral Instruction… we stopped listening,” a direct callback to his acclaimed 2019 album. That reference told fans exactly what energy to expect.
“Break Time” moves across Afrobeats, Afro-Hip-Hop, and Afro-fusion territory throughout. Falz keeps his usual sharp writing and witty observations front and center. Features stay tight, with Priesst, Kurdi Klymax, Oiza x Meyi, and Firstklaz each showing up at exactly the right moments.
The project opens strong with “Sound The Alarm,” setting an attention-grabbing tone early. “OLE” stands out as a major highlight too, leaning on relatable storytelling and hooks that stick. “Telepepe” closes things out on a lively, energetic note.
For someone who has built an entire career on saying things other artists avoid, “Break Time” proves Falz hasn’t softened one bit. Stream the full EP now and hear how each track connects.
