Nigerian gospel artist Godswill Oyor and Daniel Ojo join forces on “Journey in Worship, Vol. 3,” a sixteen-track worship album built to be followed from start to finish.
The title carries real meaning here. A journey has a beginning, middle, and end, while the Vol. 3 tag points to earlier chapters that brought listeners back. Daniel Ojo appears on every track, so the project rests on one steady partnership from open to close.
The writing follows a clear arc. It opens with an intro, then moves into the promise of “I will bless you, oh Lord” and the repentance of “a broken and contrite heart.” Two spoken parts of Psalm 51 sit alongside two takes of Heart Cry, then Pharisee, Desperate for You, and This Is the Air I Breathe. Lord, I’m amazed Mercy also arrives in two cuts before Isaiah and the glory songs “Ogo, Ogo (Extended)” and Ogo/Hallelujah close things out.
The longer cuts deserve attention. A repeated song invites the room to linger, much like a vigil lets a chorus run until everyone settles. “Journey in Worship, Vol. 3” treats the track list as a service, from the first quiet moment to the final shout.
