Nigerian artist Iceking Ochacho has released a new song called “Awilo,” a track with listener anticipation behind it. The record sits on his debut album, “The Future,” which landed on October 14, 2026.
The project carries fifteen tracks in total, and “Awilo” holds a spot among them. Adah is credited as composer and lyricist, while ONErpm handles distribution and ICEKING OCHACHO MUSIC holds the rights. So the song comes straight from the artist’s own camp.
IceKing Ochacho, whose real name is Shedrack Mohammed Adah, hails from Otukpo in Benue State. He is a rapper and performer who has been building a following since his early teens. His album also features a collaboration with 2Baba on “Young Forever,” alongside cuts like “Vibe Check” and “Blessings.”
Expectations were high for this one, and the early reaction from his fan base suggests it landed well. A debut album rarely answers every question an artist raises, but it does set the terms for what comes next.
