South African artist INhlenge Zekezi returns with “My darling,” a brief and pointed statement on the new album IYOLENDA NOM ALISHONA. The song sits sixth on the seven-track project, so it carries real weight before the close.
“My darling” comes through DistroKid, with drums handled by Mafios, while Beula melodies holds the phonographic copyright. The song drops on 2026-10-10, so it arrives as part of a full body of work rather than a loose single.
INhlenge Zekezi has moved across several projects, including Ithimba lamaliwa and UNgxamambili, both from 2025. She has also worked alongside Hopeman Ncube and Nkosikhona Ngwabi, so the catalogue keeps widening.
Because the album leans on short tale telling, the sixth slot lets that composed sound breathe before the final track. It opens room for listeners to sit with the narrative instead of rushing past it.
