British-Ghanaian producer Juls links with Jamaican vocalist Projexx on “SLOPPY,” a standout cut from their joint project JUNCTION, and the pairing feels deliberate.

“SLOPPY” lands as the third track on the album, which arrived on August 14, 2026. Writing and production credits go to Juls, Projexx, Kevin James, and Romaine Arnett. The two leads also appear under their real names, Julian Nicco-Annan and Johni Denali, which shows how personal this record is to them.

Juls has long moved across Afrobeats, highlife, and palmwine sounds, while Projexx carries that modern dancehall energy. Their chemistry here feels natural, because the track blends off-beat percussion with melodic Jamaican flow. Critics have compared its loose rhythm to J Dilla’s signature style, but the Banku influence stays present.
