Nigerian producer Masterkraft and Ramoni revisit a past creative collaboration on the Afrobeats tune “Iwonikan” on Party Starter (PS2).

The pair have collaborated before, so this is a reunion rather than a first-time link-up. Both appeared on Stormatique’s “Gbona” with Tiphhyz, and that shared history gives “Iwonikan” a familiar foundation. Masterkraft and RAM0NI know each other’s patterns, and the song leans on that ease.

Masterkraft has built a wide network of collaborators over his career. RAM0NI, meanwhile, has stacked credits across his own discography and features with other artists. So bringing them back together sets the record apart within the new project.

The song runs over four minutes, and it is filed under Afrobeats, a genre that keeps surfacing across Party Starter. That length gives the two of them room to trade off without rushing the moment. Nothing feels clipped or hurried here.
