Tanzanian Singeli artist Meja Kunta keeps his momentum rolling as he drops a six-track EP titled “Chapter One” for his fans.
“Chapter One” arrived on October 5, 2026, and runs just over twenty-one minutes. EMPIRE handles the international distribution, while Eyoo Kenny and Diblo one touch share production credits. The Makers Gang banner is also attached to the project.
Across the six songs, Meja Kunta rarely slows his delivery. His Swahili flows ride heavy percussion and electronic beats, and the pace hardly drops between tracks. He carries most of the EP alone, but Chino Kidd and Mabantu join him on “Uloda.” Lulu Diva appears on “Ahadi,” while Mbwido handles “Paa Paa.”
The remaining cuts, “Crazy,” “Segerea,” and “Salamu,” leave him steering solo. That choice matters because his voice holds the project together without much help.
Meja Kunta also marked the release with a yacht and island launch at Mbudya Island. Tracks like “Madanga Ya Mke Wangu” and “Mamu” built his following, so the demand around him stays high.
The delivery is the real draw here. Singeli moves fast, yet he keeps every line clear and controlled from start to finish.
