Nigerian singer-songwriter Promise Ebelechukwu has returned with “Favoured,” a new record that adds to his growing run of releases. The song arrives as part of “Golden Ginger,” the album that carries it, and it was released on June 8, 2026.
Promise Ebelechukwu Entertainment puts the record out, while DistroKid handles distribution. It sits as track two on the project, so listeners meet it early. The same album also holds “You Caught Me,” which occupies the third slot.
His catalogue runs wider than one sound, though. “Pressure Made Me” and “CLOCK IT” sit alongside “LET’S GO TO CONGO (ALLONS À CONGO, CONGO KINSHASA)” and an eight-track EP titled DONE FOR ME.
The mood here leans warm and steady, built for slow mornings and long drives. Vocals stay front and centre, while the rhythm keeps a gentle push underneath. Nothing rushes, yet nothing drags either, so the song holds attention without demanding it.
