Reggae Tahiti is back with a fresh conscious drop as the Tahitian roots ensemble delivers “Children Of Ocean” for fans.
The record serves as a follow-up to their 2026 album Remember Who We Are, arriving on May 28, 2026 through RT Roots. The band handles the vocal work themselves, layering deep harmonies over the arrangement.
Based in Tahiti, Reggae Tahiti has built a following by merging Pacific energy with classic Jamaican roots beats. Their catalog includes tracks like “Time Is Teaching” and “Alone But Not Lost.”
The production here leans on organic mid-tempo roots reggae. Rhythmic guitar chops and warm Hammond organ chords carry the melody, while snappy percussion shakers add texture. A strolling bassline slides beneath steady one-drop drums, keeping the groove relaxed. But it is the vocal delivery that anchors the message about ancestral ties to the sea and environmental harmony.
