Ghanaian recording artist and 2Hype Gang member Showbezzy has teamed up with Lyrical Joe for “Snitch,” a hard-hitting hip-hop record. The single comes off his studio project, Lonely at the Top. But this one carries a different weight than a typical gang anthem.
Showbezzy and Lyrical Joe trade bars about vigilance and loyalty, while calling out double-faced friends and street informers. Producer Bozy Beatz builds a dark, mid-tempo beat around banging kick drums, snappy hi-hat rolls, and rolling sub-bass lines. The engineering leaves plenty of breathing space in the mix, so every bar lands with clarity. It is a battle-ready statement, yet the message stays focused on the block.
Fans who have followed Showbezzy through his 2Hype Gang run will hear the gritty energy they have been waiting for on “Snitch.” Lyrical Joe brings his own uncompromising edge to the collaboration, and the pair never let the tempo drag.
West African hip-hop heads have been hungry for records like this, so the timing works in its favour.
