Ghanaian artist Showbezzy, a member of 2Hype Gang, returns with an addictive street song exuding confidence, “Steeze.”
The record sits on his studio CD, Lonely at the Top. It rides a cheerful, mid-tempo soundscape built on banging kick drums and snappy percussion shakers. A fluid, rolling bassline keeps the groove moving underneath.
Crisp engineering gives the mix breathing room, so every explosive flow switch lands clearly. Playful ad-libs come through too, and nothing gets buried. Showbezzy tops it with his textured rasp and forceful voice, laying down infectious refrains that hold attention.
The subject matter is simple and sure of itself. “Steeze” is about easy charisma and personal poise under duress, but it never over-explains the point. That restraint is why the song lands, because the attitude carries more weight than any punchline could.
West African street-pop fans are hunting for exactly this kind of bounce-heavy anthem right now. So the timing makes sense for him.
