Skillibeng, the Jamaican dancehall heavyweight, returns with a commanding new single titled “General.”
The track lands as dancehall purists and street-rap fans keep craving gritty songs built on leadership and bulletproof confidence. But “General” answers that demand directly, with Skillibeng stepping forward to remind listeners why his street position stays unquestioned.
He built his name on minimalist trap-dancehall phrasing, unique flows and global collaborations. So this drop fits the lane he already owns, while pushing his commanding delivery to the front. The writing stays lean, and the energy never drags.
Confidence carries the record from start to finish, because the subject matter never asks for permission. Yet the restraint in the arrangement leaves room for every bar to land clean. That mix keeps “General” moving without any wasted moment.
