South African Afro-house heavyweight Sun-EL Musician is back in familiar company as he drops “Sifikile,” a new single featuring vocalist Thatohatsi. The new single arrives as the official soundtrack for SHOPFEST 2026, pairing Sun-EL’s melodic synth patterns with Thatohatsi’s warm vocal presence.
Its arrangement keeps the tempo lively, while the production stays rooted in the Afro-house sound he has built over the years. The record was released on November 5, 2026, and it moves with the kind of bounce that suits a festival stage.
“Sifikile” also extends a working relationship that started earlier. Both artists appeared on “Angeke” alongside Kenza and Jnr SA, a track off Sun-EL Musician’s fourth studio album, Under The Sun, released in February 2026. That history gives this pairing a head start.
The genre is the real winner here. South Africa’s dance scene keeps producing crossovers like this, and “Sifikile” fits right into that run.
