Zambian singer and producer T-Sean opens his tribute EP with “Missing You,” a personal record made with T-Sean Jr. that carries real weight for him.
The song is the first track on Woke Up Missing You, a five-track project released on September 29, 2026. T-Sean wrote it around the loss of his wife, Sharai, who passed away on July 27, 2026. Because the EP grew out of that grief, “Missing You” sets the tone for everything that follows.
T-Sean Jr.’s appearance gives the record a family dimension. Two voices share the track, so the absence at its centre feels acknowledged rather than explained. That choice shapes how the song lands.
