Tiakola, the French hip-hop artist, composer and performer, is back with a new record titled “Best” featuring Rema. The song lands as another entry in his growing run of releases, and it pairs him with a Mavin Records act who carries serious weight of his own.

Rema, an award-winning singer-songwriter, joins Tiakola on “Best,” so the track brings French hip-hop and Afrobeats together on one record. The production credits go to AOD, London and Washy, a trio handling the boards behind the song.

Because three producers worked on it, the sound carries plenty of layers. Tiakola holds his side down, while Rema adds his own colour to the mix. Both artists get room to move, yet the record never feels crowded.
