Tribby Wadi Bhozza links with Patron West, Gallarbass and Stellenbosch on “Menateng,” a party single built for the dancefloor.
The record leans on chant-style hooks and log drums from start to finish. Patron West handles the opening verses, and the subject matter stays simple. He sings about dancing and heading out to groove. Gallarbass and Stellenbosch also produced the beat, so two of the guests worked behind the boards as well.
Tribby stays busy beyond this drop. He also appears on “Jamaica” with De Niakeyz, DJ Tearz SA and Percy5, while “Pelo Yaka” pairs him with Poobington, Wendy Moon and Hitboss SA. Patron West and Gallarbass have teamed up before too, on “Lekompo Leya America” with Fuego.
The writing works because it never reaches for anything heavy. It is a song about going out, and the verses treat it that way. No forced depth, just movement.
