Nigerian gospel artist TY Bello returns with “Big God,” a new entry that closes out her double-album era for worshippers everywhere. The song sits as track nineteen on I Speak Lamb, the companion project to I Speak Lion. Both albums arrived together after two years of waiting, so the long tracklist gives listeners plenty to sit with. “Big God” lands late in that run, yet it carries real weight in the flow.
Her catalogue already includes “We Are Fire,” “The Spirit of Light,” and “HEAVEN HAS COME.” But many fans first met her through Kush in the 2000s. She also built a career as a photographer before gospel music took centre stage. That background shapes how she approaches worship, because every project carries a consistent message.
However, expectations ran high this time. Two years is a long silence for any artist, so fans wanted more than filler. “Big God” answers that with a simple proclamation instead of a grand production. The placement on I Speak Lamb feels deliberate, yet it never drags.
