Ty Bello – Nothing without you Ft. Ellie Scotte & Leke Alder

Ty Bello returns with a new gospel offering, “Nothing without you,” enlisting Ellie Scotte and Leke Alder for the track. The song sits at number sixteen on her twenty-track project, I Speak Lamb, and it carries the reflective mood that runs through much of the album. Ellie Scotte and Leke Alder add vocal depth here, while the arrangement keeps the spiritual message steady and clear. Ty Bello was born in Ogun State and studied economics at the University of Lagos before music took over. She first became popular with the defunct gospel band Kush in the 2000s and has since built a catalogue that includes “Greenland,” “The Future,” and “The Spirit of Light.” That run of releases matters because “Nothing without you” fits right into it. The song works as a quiet statement of faith, and it does not try too hard to impress. Instead, it lets the harmonies and the words carry the weight.
