TY Bello joins forces with Nathaniel Bassey once more as “Holy Ghost Air” carries their worship into fresh ears today. The song sits at track nine on her “I Speak Lamb” EP, a twenty-track body of work.
It arrives as a free flowing medley of sounds, chants and affirmations. Bassey’s trumpet-like falsetto answers TY Bello’s warm alto, so the two voices trade lines instead of competing. She wrote the material herself, and the pairing keeps the focus on delivery rather than decoration.
The singer first won hearts with the gospel band Kush, then built a solo run that includes “Greenland” and “Nobody Else.” Her recent projects, “The Spirit of Light” and “HEAVEN HAS COME,” show an artist still in demand across Nigerian worship circles. Bassey remains one of the country’s most sought-after ministers, yet this collaboration feels like two friends in one room.
“Holy Ghost Air” also appeared as a single years before this EP version, so the song has already travelled. Gospel music often measures itself by how a moment lands live, and this one leans on breath, restraint and belief. Have you played “Holy Ghost Air” yet? Drop your thoughts in the comment section.
