Umfoka Msezane gives listeners something to sit with as “Izinqa” arrives, a track built for quiet listening over quick radio spins. The song sits second on Awulith’ qheke, the South African artist’s 12-track album.
Because the record holds a steady, reflective mood, it suits slow evenings and long drives. “Izinqa” also carries its own weight within the wider project. Each song feeds the album’s overall design, yet this one keeps a distinct place in the sequence.
The collection draws on the artist’s South African background, so the sound stays rooted while still moving forward. But the real pull here is restraint. Nothing rushes, and that gives the track room to breathe.
