South African artist Thebuza is back with a new collaboration called “Me Gustas Tu,” featuring Kgosi keys and MBIE012. The record pairs three voices from the country’s modern music space, and it arrives as a fresh partnership for everyone involved.
“Me Gustas Tu” leans on brief songwriting with a strong editorial focus, so nothing overstays its welcome. The structure stays tight from start to finish. Each performer gets room to work, but the arrangement never feels crowded because the parts are kept economical.
Thebuza, Kgosi keys and MBIE012 built the track around compact, efficient expression. That approach suits a collaborative setting, where too many ideas can weigh a song down. Instead, the trio trims the fat and lets the chemistry carry the weight. The result sounds authentically South African without extra frills attached.
Collaborations like this one show how much can be done with very little.
