Onitsha-based gospel artist Adazion Ij returns with another praise-filled Igbo tune, “Utu Gbawara Iyi.”
This new record follows his earlier work “Ike Nkwu Aba Mba,” and it carries a bright, joyful air from the very first note. The title paints spiritual imagery of water breaking through, a metaphor for heavenly wealth and breakthrough that suits a season of expectation.
Adazion Ij does not treat that concept lightly. The writing shapes itself around the visual with genuine Igbo gospel fervor, and his identity as a live worship minister shines through every moment. Because he leads worship before he records, this song never feels like a studio exercise. Instead, it sounds like a worship leader simply hit the record button during a sincere moment.
His growing catalogue, which includes “ZAM” and “Kporom Chim,” has drawn over 369,000 Audiomack followers, yet this record keeps the focus on devotion rather than numbers.
